Come see what sets a Waldorf education apart! If you are exploring preschools, interested in Waldorf pedagogy, or just want to learn more about what your child experiences as an Acorn Hill student, then join us for this festival.
Since its founding in 1964, Acorn Hill’s teaching and curriculum have emphasized the healthy development of the heart, body and mind through imaginative play, meaningful work and expressive arts in a natural environment. In this spirit, the concept for the Healthy Hearts, Minds and Bodies Festival was born. Aimed at showcasing the central role that wellness—of the heart, mind, and body—plays at a Waldorf school, we will have healthy lifestyle merchants offering up demonstrations and information on a variety of topics such as nutrition, eurythmy, crafting, and media-free child-rearing. The event will also feature marionette puppet theater.
