Scheduling a School Visit
2015-16 school tours are on the first Thursday of most months; please see the schedule below. Parents will hear a presentation on our school from our administration and enrollment staff, and will have an opportunity to visit our 5 Day Classes. School tours are for adults only.
In addition to our regular school tours, we hold free Mini Mornings on the first Saturday of most months. Saturday Mini Mornings are popular events, with teachers, parents and board members available to answer questions. Children will enjoy activities especially designed for them – open play, snack, circle, story, and time outdoors on our beautiful wooded playground.
Additionally, you are always welcome to drop by our school with your child Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm, for a look around our playground and public areas.

The Mini Morning provides a great opportunity to experience Waldorf early education first hand. Held on the first Saturday of most months, we open our classrooms for a taste of a typical day at Acorn Hill. You and your child can meet our teachers and enjoy a shortened experience of our daily rhythm, with open play, table activities, circle and story, and outdoor play on our beautiful wooded playground. Teachers, parents and board members are on hand to answer questions and talk about our school. There is no charge for the Mini Morning.
