There are many additional ways for current and alumni families to support the school, from participation at annual events such as the Spring Fair and Auction to tax-deductible contributions and planned giving.  In addition, contributions toward the Foster Fund and Vision Fund allow specialized support for teacher training, diversity, and future growth.

• Annual Giving

  We ask all current families, board members, and faculty to contribute to the Annual Fund because this is our most critical funding source, feeding directly into the operating budget to help offset the “tuition gap,” and providing immediate benefits to our students.

• The Foster Fund

  Honoring longtime Acorn Hill teacher and faculty chair, Nancy Foster, who devoted more than 30 years to Acorn Hill, this endowment fund provides grants for Waldorf teacher training and ensures a future of qualified Waldorf Early Childhood instructors.

• Vision Fund

  A recent initiative, this fund is designated to support our vision of offering new and expanded programs to reach more children within our diverse community.

• Merchant Programs

  Donate while you spend! Register your cards or do your on-line shopping through one of several sites that donates a portion of the sale to Acorn Hill.

• Planned Giving

  Designate Acorn Hill as a beneficiary in your will, your IRA or in other estate plans.

• Gifts of Securities
