Current Parents

Welcome, Parents of Children Enrolled at Acorn Hill

The Parent Circle is Acorn Hill’s equivalent of a PTA – a gathering of parents who want to take an active part in building a vibrant Acorn Hill community. Our goal is to support the faculty and staff by organizing community-building events and fundraising activities. Although we primarily engage in volunteerism, our purpose is also to be a social forum for parents.

Please join us in our various activities and events as we share this journey as parents of young children. We are looking to get to know each other and support each other as we navigate issues facing us as parents today, and as we try to incorporate more Waldorf methods into our home lives. Please send any questions or comments to and we will get back to you.

A Conversation Among Waldorf Grandparents: Building our Relationships

Wednesday, April 25, 2018     7:30–9:00 pm

As grandparents we enjoy watching our grandchildren grow and expand their horizons, yet sometimes it can be difficult to establish an easy-going, relaxed relationship with the children, and even with their parents. Parenting choices and styles may differ from what we had experienced. Understanding Waldorf education can help to open the door to a more satisfying relationship with your grandchild and his or her parents. Several panelists will share their experiences as Waldorf grandparents, with a chance for discussion and exchange of ideas. $10 suggested donation.

Spring Fair
